Q magnet Models
There are 13 Q magnet models available. For the first time, this enables a clinician or consumer to choose the magnet with the best field characteristics for the type of pain. Combining both a local field vector with a predominantly perpendicular gradient which the research has shown to be the most therapeutically active magnetic field for the treatment of pain.
When selecting your devices, use the information below to identify the most appropriate combination or for the best value simply purchase one of Q Bonus Packages. Try to select the smallest device for your application as this reduces your overall investment and may be more comfortable. There is a trade off between number of active areas and field penetration. For instance, the QF28-6 has four active regions but penetrates 50mm, while the HF28-6 has 6 active regions but only penetrates 25mm. If the target tissue is say a trigger point in the trapezius muscle, the HF28-6 might be the best choice, although both may be equally effective.
Magnet selection is both science and art. We have the feedback from years of application from many very experienced health professionals but more randomised controlled trials need to be undertaken to provide the best possible treatment protocols.

Application |
Octapolar Width = 50mm or 2" Thickness = 3mm or 0.12" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
35mm or 1.4" |
Lower Back for two adjacent spinal levels e.g. L4/5 and L5/S1
Large surface area and 8 active regions makes it ideal to apply after bruising. |
|
Quadrapolar Width = 28mm or 1.12" Thickness = 6mm or 0.25" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
50mm or 2" |
Lower back, upper back and larger joints such as hip, shoulder and knee. | |
Quadrapolar Width = 28mm or 1.12" Thickness = 3mm or 0.12" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
48mm or 1.92" |
Lower back, upper back and larger joints such as hip, shoulder and knee.
Covers the same area as QF28-6, but lower profile and may be more comfortable to wear. |
|
Hexapolar Width = 28mm or 1.12" Thickness = 6mm or 0.25" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
25mm or 1"
|
Medium size joints such as elbow, ankle and wrist.
To be used on its own at least 5cm or 2 inches away from the closest device. |
|
Quadrapolar Width = 20mm or 0.8" Thickness = 5mm or 0.2" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
33mm or 1.32" |
Medium size joints such as elbow, ankle and wrist.
Use also for upper back or neck for smaller frame bodies. |
|
Quadrapolar Width = 20mm or 0.8" Thickness = 4mm or 0.16" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
32mm or 1.28" |
Medium size joints such as elbow, ankle and wrist.
Use also for upper back or neck for smaller frame bodies. |
|
Quadrapolar Width = 20mm or 0.8" Thickness = 3mm or 0.12" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
31mm or 1.24" |
Medium size joints such as elbow, ankle and wrist.
Use also for upper back or neck for smaller frame bodies. |
|
Quadrapolar Width = 20mm or 0.8" Thickness = 2mm or 0.08" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
30mm or 1.2" |
Medium size joints such as elbow, ankle and wrist.
Use also for upper back or neck for smaller frame bodies. |
|
Quadrapolar Width = 15mm or 0.6" Thickness = 3mm or 0.12" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
25mm or 1" |
For small joints such as fingers. Also use on medium size joints such as neck, elbow, ankle and wrist for smaller frame bodies.
Also for trigger points. |
|
Quadrapolar Width = 15mm or 0.6" Thickness = 2mm or 0.08" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
24mm or 0.96" |
For small joints such as fingers. Also use on medium size joints such as neck, elbow, ankle and wrist for smaller frame bodies.
Also for trigger points. |
|
Quadrapolar Width = 10mm or 0.4" Thickness = 3mm or 0.12" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
15mm or 0.6" |
For small joints such as fingers.
Also for superficial trigger points. |
|
Quadrapolar Width = 10mm or 0.4" Thickness = 2mm or 0.08" Pull Force = Flux Plate attached |
14mm or 0.56" |
For small joints such as fingers.
Also for superficial trigger points. |
|
Quadrapolar Width = 6mm or 0.24" Thickness = 1.5mm or 0.06" Pull Force = No Flux Plate attached No plastic casing |
5mm or 0.2" |
For small joints such as fingers.
Also for superficial trigger points.
Could be ineffective if a lot of swelling or fat tissue at the site of application. Use larger device instead. |
